With the warmer weather and the wind, the ice on the lakes is deteriorating fast. Be careful and check the ice depth often when venturing out. Many of the smaller lakes are already seeing open water including: Eagle Lake, Willmar Lake, Foot Lake, Ringo Lake and Long Lake. It should be another nice weekend if you feel like venturing out on some of the larger lakes with your portable fish house.
