Diamond Lake is quite popular right now, especially for some big crappies and a few sunfish and walleye. South Long Lake is creating a buzz for the big walleye being caught (22-30”) late at night along with some big sunfish. Solomon Lake also has reports of some big sunfish being pulled from the lake. Other lakes that are popular right now are Willmar Lake, Foot Lake, Big Kandiyohi Lake, Norway Lake, Green Lake and Minnetaga Lake. All area lakes are ranging from 13 to 15 inches of ice this last week, but will hopefully be gaining more with this current cold snap.
