Diamond Lake is located 4 miles northwest of Atwater with public access available at Diamond Lake County Park on the west shore and a small access on the east shore.  Diamond Lake Resort is on the southeast shore of the lake.  Anglers report good walleye fishing on Diamond Lake, especially in early winter.  Other popular fish species include Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and Sunfish.
